The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) is an agency of the Ministry of Youth and Culture, established in 1963 to develop and foster cultural excellence in the areas of visual and performing arts. Through the annual staging of the JCDC Festival of the Visual and Performing Arts Competition, the talents of many Jamaicans of all ages are exposed and developed. Competitors are placed in categories based on age, and compete for Gold, Silver & Merit awards while representing their schools or entering as an individual.

In the last 3 years the AISK administration has entered our students in the Visual Arts, Dance and Drama categories and we have enjoyed immediate success in all three genres.
